RECYCLING
COORDINATOR
Summary:
Under general supervision, provides
recycling services to City residents; collects recycled material
in bins and compacts the material for transfer with the assistance
of Department of Corrections inmate labor; markets collected, packaged
product; cleans and maintains area around the recycling bins; and
provides assistance to sanitation crews as assigned.
Education,
Experience, and Certifications: High
School Diploma or GED and one (1) year of work experience or equivalent
combination of education and experience which provides the required
knowledge, skills and abilities. State of Arizona driver's license.
Certification from the Department of Corrections to supervise inmate
labor or ability to obtain. Preference may be given to an individual
with enthusiasm for recycling and the ability to educate others
on the benefits of recycling.
Salary
Range :
$12.40 - $18.59 /hour
( DOE), full time position with benefits,
including membership in the Arizona State Retirement System.
