What are your hours?
Do you have computers available for public use? We have six public computers with productivity software (such as Word, Excel, Access and Power Point) printing capabilities, electronic encyclopedias, atlases, children's educational software, games, Internet access and an online catalog of library holdings throughout Cochise County.
Do you have any genealogical information? The Library has collections of Bisbee High School yearbooks dating back to 1916. There are also Bisbee directories from the year 1904. What upcoming events are at the library? Preschoolers and toddlers are invited to join us on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.for Preschool Story Hour and on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. for bilingual story hour. Snacks and supplies are underwritten through the generous support of the Friends of the Copper Queen Library. News about library programs and events is posted on the library's website and can be found by visiting the library's What's New? page or by checking the library's Events Calendar.
Mission Statement: The Copper Queen Library provides Bisbee residents of all ages with opportunities to: 1) achieve self-directed, personal growth and development; 2) find, evaluate and use information in a variety of formats; 3) better understand the various cultures represented in Bisbee.
The Library acquires and organizes information in a variety of media, including books, periodicals, sound recordings, video recordings, software and the Internet; helps train the public in library usage; borrows and lends materials throughout Cochise County and the United States via the Interlibrary Loan system; offers educational and entertaining programs free to the public; provides meeting facilities for civic groups and other organizations. Many exciting programs and events are offered throughout the year for both adults and children. These include book discussions, film discussions, lecture series and weekly story hour as well as bilingual story hour for toddlers and their parents.
