Notice to Property Tax Payers for the City of Bisbee

“In compliance with section 9-499.15, Arizona Revised Statutes, the City of Bisbee

       is notifying its property taxpayers that the City will consider raising its primary property

       taxes over last year's level.  If the City Council votes to raise the maximum permissible

       amount of property taxes for the 2013 fiscal year, the total property tax levy would

       increase from $ 874,422 to $ 902,279 and the primary property tax rate would

       increase from $2.0363 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation to $2.1577

       per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation.  

The City Council will adopt the actual tax levy at the July 3, 2012, City Council meeting.”
